after returning from Paris yesterday morning, I am pleased to announce that my first visit was absolutely perfect. all of the stars must have lined up in my favour because there was no blaming to be had.
the city was bustling with all types of creativity; from pop-up street installations in the middle of the night for nuit blanche to the show-stoppers marching down the runway for the city's turn at fashion week. the city had a lot to offer a first timer.

on sunday, the world saw a new way of marching for Spring/Summer 2012 by team Galliano who put a spin on their signature look by adding a stronger yet still feminine attitude. with nods to the likes of Mary Poppins, the Galliano SS12 collection included a healthy mix of light organzas, tulle, structured jackets and hits of gigham. see the shots below and visit their website to watch the entire show.
